Spiegelberg Track Replacement Building A. The purpose and intent of this Invitation to Bid is to obtain bids from qualified contractors for a comprehensive bid for the removal and replacement of the Spiegelberg Stadium sports track. The work will include excavation for the lighting upgrades and the removal and replacement of the track and track surface. Additional work included in this project will include concrete curbs, retaining walls and asphalt walkways. Complete details and scope are provided on the attached bid plans/drawings. This project must be substantially completed by April 28, 2023. he district reserves the right to (1) reject any Proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, (2) to add to the price bid by nonresident bidders an increase equal to the percent preference that the nonresident bidders home state would give it's instate bidders, (3) to reject, for good cause, any or all Bids that are not in the best interest of the district, (4) to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, to waive any formalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of Medford School District to be in its best interest. . The Project consists of the following: 1. Replacement of an existing track surface. 2. Replacement of existing stadium lights and site electrical upgrades. 3. A new ADA accessible pathway with new retaining walls and gate.
