Description

The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Project Number 23078, titled Histology Upgrade Exhaust System and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents. The main features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Provide Project Management. Provide Submittals. Provide controls and associated items as required for a complete system for the exhaust fans. The fan inlet damper were supplied by others. Provide rooms pressure mentors and associated items in accordance with Contract Documents. Provide controls for a supplied box provided by others as required for a complete system. Provide programing and graphics as required for a complete system and incorporate them into the existing headend. Provide all instrumentation and controls for a complete and operational system. Provide Project Closeout, including Documentation. This project is to provide to provide a new upgraded exhaust system for Histology. Mandatory Walkthrough & Bidders Conference and Site Visit - Will not be held. RFI's (Request for Information - Technical Questions) All Bidders' questions must be submitted in writing, citing the particular IFB page, section and paragraph number where applicable to Jennifer.Mendez@stonybrookmedicine.edu by December 28, 2022 by 4:00 PM. Questions received after the closing date for inquiries will not be answered. All questions must be relevant to the Bidder's response to this IFB. FI Responses - Copies of all relevant questions, with official responses, will be provided in writing to all Bidders who have requested this IFB by January 4, 2023 or as soon thereafter as possible. Only written answers are official.
