Description | The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for the project listed below. The Contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, transportation, managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel to renovate Momo Park located at 5447 S. 5th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85040. The Park renovations include removing the concrete sidewalks and slabs, benches, basketball hoop and footing, picnic tables, irrigation, and chain link fence, and installing new concrete sidewalks, drinking fountain, trash receptacles, bench, seatwall, picnic tables, park grill, ramadas, basketball hoop, new play structure, site wall, landscaping, irrigation, and lighting. Except as otherwise required in the specifications, proposal preparation and construction of projects shall be in accordance with all applicable Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Uniform Standard Specifications and Uniform Standard Details, latest revision and the City of Phoenix Supplements to the MAG Uniform Standard Specifications and Details, latest revision. This project is funded by Community Development Block Grant funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The prevailing basic hourly wage rates and fringe benefit payments, as determined by the Secretary of Labor pursuant to the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act, shall be the minimum wages paid to the described classes of laborers and mechanics employed or working on the site to perform the contract. The City of Phoenix, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252.42 U.S.C. 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible responsive bidder or all bids will be rejected, as soon as practicable after the date of opening bids.
