2023 Utility Improvements Project West Ramsdell Street/South Main Street

Description: Replacement of 2800 feet of Watermain and 2000 feet of Sanitary mains including laterals along West Ramsdell Street from STH 110 and westerly to St. Mary's Cemetery. South Main Street project will replace 600 feet of watermain and watermain laterals from Bertram Street and 600 feet southerly. Est. Completion Date: June 30, 2023 Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to Owner in amount of five percent of Bidder's maximum Bid Price in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check. Contractor shall furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor's obligations under the Contract Documents. The Contract shall be subject to Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates established by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Davis Bacon Act, 40 U.S.C. 3142. Be aware that Bidders, Contractors and Subcontractors are required to use the latest federal wage rate available at the time of bid opening. Contractors should review Davis Bacon Wage Rates included in the contract documents to ensure all job classifications needed are included before submitting a bid.
