Construction of the City of Arcola Force Main Replacement

The Project consists of constructing approximately 3,000 lineal feet of 6" PVC Forcemain, 500 lineal feet of bore, and appurtenances for a complete system. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Some of the project funding would be from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Attention is called to the fact that the firm must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin and that Federal Section 3 and all other Federal, State and Local provisions shall apply. The City of Arcola reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informalities in the procurement process. Printed copies of the Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Milano & Grunloh Engineers, LLC". Upon request and receipt of the document fee indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Contracts must not be awarded unless/until the bidder has a Unique Entity ID, an "Active" SAM registration, and "No Exclusions" from participating in federal assistance programs. Subcontracts must not be awarded unless/until the subcontractor has a Unique Entity ID and "No Exclusions" from participating in federal assistance programs.
