Ensure said bids factor a total project completion time of 120 days from date of issued Purchase Order. . Demo and Dispose of existing concrete approach. . Follow Engineer drawings provided in the attached "Fire Approach Detail Spec Sheets" titled Typical Pavement Detail. . Excavate 10" of soil down fill with compacted stone. . Drill and Epoxy 1'-0"x 5/8" steel dowel rods 1'-0"o.c. start 6" from Door jamb. 1/2 " Expansion joint. Concrete to be (4) separate pours so Fire Apparatus can stay in-service. Form and pour 8" of Reinforced concrete Medium set pavement 4000 psi with 6x12-w8.5x8.5 welded wire fabric. Cut control joints were needed. . Typical Expansion joint- #8 Dowel and Sleeve spacing 2'-0" c/c with 1/2" pre-molded joint ODOT item 705.03. Leave existing bollards in place. Clean up area where work was performed. . Final grade fill with topsoil and seed where needed. . Contractor shall be responsible for any permits and utility markings.
