Grounds Maintenance at Constitution Gardens

The City of Gaithersburg, Maryland, is soliciting written quotations for the grounds maintenance at Constitution Gardens Questions regarding this Solicitation shall be directed to Kevin Etters, Project Manager, by email to Kevin.Etters@gaithersburgmd.gov. The maintenance program for Constitution Gardens Park will provide grounds maintenance for the entire one year term, which will run from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. The intention will be to award a multiyear contract for two (2) consecutive one (1) year terms that will automatically renew. The park is used by many nearby residents. Many families with children and pets frequently visit and utilize all of the amenities. The goal is to keep the park maintained to the highest quality standards that will provide an aesthetically pleasing and safe environment. All areas of necessary maintenance will be outlined. The as-built planting information is attached for reference. All plant material shall be treated according to the horticultural specifications. The contractor shall be required to know and understand the plant material specifications and the proper care and maintenance of all plant material, trees, and shrubs. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Quotes in full or in part and/or to waive any minor technicalities and/or informalities in the process as best may serve the interests of the City.
