Chaparral Road Widening - City of Killen

The City of Killeen (Owner) plans to reconstruct and realign Chaparral Road from SH 195 to FM 3481 as a four-lane arterial. The project will be design and constructed in two phases. Phase I extends from SH 195 to E. Trimmier Road (approx. 4.6 miles). Phase II extends from E. Trimmier Road to FM 3481 approx. 2 miles). The project is being designed and constructed in accordance with TxDOT specifications and standards. This scope of services is for concept design, environmental and schematic design for Phases I & II. As of March 13, 2023, the design firm has been selected.
