Description | Job No: RS20-3881 This Request for Proposals (RFP) solicits a proposal for consultant services to provide a constructability review of the 95% plans and specifications and perform pre-construction services, construction management/inspection, and construction contract administration services to augment existing County construction staff as necessary for the 7th Street Bridge over the Tuolumne River, a State, Federal and locally funded project. The Construction Division within Public Works currently manages all aspects of the construction and administration of the Departments improvement projects. The project manager will be Mark Hamblin, Stanislaus County Public Works. The selected consultant will need to have the ability to supplement the current Division staff with the following staff members; Resident Engineer, Assistant Resident Engineer, Construction Inspector(s), Specialty Inspector (electrical, structural, storm water and special inspectors, concrete and steel), Structures Representative and Administrative personnel as necessary. The Division expects the consultant staffing to have extensive experience managing/inspecting local agency type projects. The proposal shall include a risk matrix for the project. The proposal shall not exceed 30 pages (double sided is acceptable for a total of 15 physical pages), not including resumes and no more than one sheet per resume, except for the principals, which may not exceed 2 pages each and no more than 3 principals may be listed, including a cover letter. Sheets sized 11 x 17 are acceptable and will be counted as 1 page but shall contain appropriate content such as roadway exhibits, site constraint maps, planning study drawings, etc. Any attachments/appendixes (such as Detail Scope of Services), cover sheet, dividers or cover letter/introductory letter will not be counted as part of the 30-page proposal limit.
