Disaster Roof Repairs

Polk County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, requests the submittal of bids from vendors that are interested in providing disaster roof repairs as described herein. Sealed bids must be received in the Procurement Division, prior to the due date and time listed below. Provide all labor, material, permitting and supervision required to provide temporary roofing repairs as a result of a natural disaster. These services will be used on an as needed basis and only when the county intends to request Public Assistance from FEMA for Reimbursement. Attached are important instructions and specifications regarding responses to this Bid. Failure to follow these instructions could result in Bid disqualification. Questions regarding this bid should be in writing and should reference the above Bid. Submit all questions to Carlos Baez, Senior Procurement Analyst, via email at carlosbaez@polk-county.net or via fax at (863) 534-6789 by 4:00 p.m.; Friday, April 29, 2022 per this date. The period of performance for this bid is from the date of award through November 30, 2024 (termination Date). If the County provides notice to the Vendor at least 30 days prior to the Termination Date that it has not put in place a new bid for the goods, then this Bid shall remain in effect on a month-to-month basis until terminated by written notice from the County Procurement Division to the Vendor, but not longer than four (4) months following the termination date.
