Description | Furnishing all labor and materials for: Cummins Road Sections 10 & 15, T12N, R11W Grading, Drainage and Surfacing Caddo County, Oklahoma Caddo County Oklahoma seeks an experienced qualified firm(s) to provide all, labor, supervisions, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary for Construction of Cummins Road from US 281 west for approximately one half mile. All bids must include assurances that the following provisions will be complied with: 1. Federal Labor Standards Provisions 2. Equal Opportunity Provisions 3. FHWA 1273 4. FAR Part 52 - Solicitation Provisions and Contract Clauses 5. Assurances that surety companies executing bonds appear on the Treasury Department's list and are authorized to transact business in the State where the project is located. Company Name and Mailing Address where addendums, if any, can be sent by overnight service. 2. Contact Name responsible for receiving any addendums, Phone Number and email address and/or Fax number. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. All bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, Bidders Bond, or irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the "Caddo County"; and in the event that Caddo County shall award the contract to the bidder and the bidder shall fail, within fifteen (15) days from the making of such award, to enter into the contract and furnish the bonds and insurance as required, the amount of the certified check shall be retained by the Caddo County as liquidated damages; or, if bid bond or letter of credit is submitted, the amount thereof shall then be immediately due and payable. The bidder to who a contract is awarded will be required to furnish public liability and workmen's compensation insurance, performance, statutory and maintenance bonds acceptable to Caddo County, in conformity with the requirements of the proposed contract documents. The performance, statutory and maintenance bonds shall be for one hundred (100%) of the contract price. The Bonds shall be obtained from companies holding Certificates of Authority as acceptable sureties (31 CFR 223). Caddo County shall reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any minor technicalities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening thereof. The Bidder must use the provided bid forms and affidavits, and all forms must be signed and notarized/attested. The Bidder must file the bid in a sealed envelope. |
