Description | The proposed project is located at various locations in Mohave County and the Hualapai Indian Reservation on Oatman Highway, Boundary Cone Road, Shinarump Drive, Stockton Hill Road, Pierce Ferry Road, Diamond Bar Road, and Hualapai Mountain Road. The work consists of improving the safety of various curves. The work includes installing light emitting diode (LED) raised pavement markers, LED curve warning signs, dynamic speed feedback signs, and other related work. This project is located on a Native American Reservation, in the Hualapai Indian Reservation area, which may subject the contractor to the laws and regulations of the Hualapai Indian Reservation and its TERO office. Contractors are advised to make themselves aware of any taxes, fees or any conditions that may be imposed by the Hualapai Indian Reservation on work performed on the Reservation. The proposed project is located at various locations in Mohave County and the Hualapai Indian Reservation on Oatman Highway, Boundary Cone Road, Shinarump Drive, Stockton Hill Road, Pierce Ferry Road, Diamond Bar Road, and Hualapai Mountain Road. The work consists of improving the safety of various curves. The work includes installing light emitting diode (LED) raised pavement markers, LED curve warning signs, dynamic speed feedback signs, and other related work. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in this contract will be 55 working days. To submit a valid bid, the bidder must (1) have prequalification from the Department as necessary for the project, and (2) be included on the project Plansholder List as a Prime. A proposal guaranty in the form of either a certified or a cashier's check made payable to the State Treasurer of Arizona for not less than 10 percent of the amount of the bid or in the form of a surety (bid) bond for 10 percent of the amount of the bid shall accompany the proposal. Surety (bid) bonds will be accepted only on the form provided by the Department and only from corporate sureties authorized to do business in Arizona.
