FY 2022 CDBG Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation

Under this project, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to construct the proposed sewer system improvements as shown on the construction drawings. More specifically, the work shall consist of +- 5,300 LF of 8" sanitary sewer rehabilitation utilizing CIPP, pipebursting, and dig and replace rehabilitation methods. The work shall also include +- 95 service transfers, the installation of approximately 3,200 LF of 6" and 4" PVC service pipe, +- 170 VF manhole rehabilitation, and +- 30 VF of standard and drop manhole construction. Time allotted for completion of work is 180 consecutive calendar days. Any other questions can be directed to the issuing office, Carter & Sloope, Inc., Canton, GA, 770-479-8782. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The Scope of Work as described herein is defined as "utility contracting" in accordance with O.C.G.A. 43-14-2(17) so the Contractor preforming the work must provide proof of a valid license by the State of Georgia as a "Utility Contractor" and must employ a "Utility Manager" certification holder who will have oversight on all the work. The Work includes the furnishing of all necessary machinery, equipment, tools, labor and other construction means, and all materials and equipment required to perform the Work including the placing of the Work into satisfactory operation.
