| Description | The project scope consists of complete removal of existing stone ballasts, cleaning and levelling of asphalt surfaces without damage to base roof. Roof replacement of approximately 130,020 square feet (two buildings) low slope roof including repairs and installation of new roof drains, perimeter coping and expansion joints. All stone ballasts, metal copings, flashings and other materials to be disposed to a designated off-site location per BCPS. Removal of damaged roof insulation and installation of tapered insulation where needed to allow proper drainage. Roof replacement of existing low slope (2.5/12) with fully adhered thermoplastic membrane roof (PVC by DuroLast. Inc.) with a cover board installed over cleaned existing asphalt roof surfaces with low rise foam adhesive. |
