Description | Summit County is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified teams of Architects, Landscape Architects or Engineers, and a Construction Mangers/General Contractors (CM/GC) interested in providing design development and construction services for the Summit County Fairgrounds Phase IA Project located on 202 E Park Road in Coalville, Utah. Phase IA includes (1) improve electrical power panel to three-phase output for existing lights and electrical outlets at Rodeo Arena and Vendor Field Area and (2) design and construction of approximately 8000 square feet of walking areas between Fairground Amenities (Rodeo Arena, Event Center, and Livestock Barns). The project requires a coordinated team to provide architecture, engineering and CM/GC services to provide complete design and development services for the design and development of new features and associated site development. The Architect and CM/GC are to work together as partners with Summit County and other consultants hired to insure design and construction are based on the State of Utah's High Performance Building Standards. There are two phases of work - the Preconstruction Design Phase and the Construction Phase. The architect will work through schematic design, preparation of design development and construction documents, assist with construction administration services, and provide project close-out services. The CM/GC will provide preconstruction activities including comment on design, value engineering, estimating, influence of the methods and sequencing of the construction phase, and receiving subcontract bidding. At the conclusion of the preconstruction activities and division bidding, the CM/GC will submit a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for the County's review and approval.
