Old Town Hall Restorations Phases 2&3 - 22041P - City of Salem

As of May 2, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. This project is included City of Salem fiscal year 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan Budget and pending funding approval. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. Phase 2: Design, Feasibility, & Cost Estimating; Phase 3: Construction The project is to restore and renovate Old Town Hall to allow for increased utilization with a focus as an Arts & Culture Community Center for Salem. The project would be conducted over a two-year period (current estimate is January 2023 through December 2025 but may change). The proposed work includes life safety, structural, and accessibility upgrades as well as bathroom and acoustical improvements. ARPA funding is match for a pending federal grant. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
