Description | The Project Generally Consists of Erosion and Sediment Control, Earthwork, Drainage Improvements, Concrete and Asphalt Paving, Associated Striping, Markings and Legends, and Landscaping for Construction of a Turn Lane and New Public Roadway for Access to the Cobblestone Hotel and Suites Development. The Project is Located on the West Side of Main Avenue Sw, Between Morningside Drive Sw and Olive Street Sw. The Owner Requires the Project to Be Substantially Complete in 90 Calendar Days From the Date That the Contract Times Commence to Run as Indicated on the Notice to Proceed. In Order to Bid on the Project, the Bidder Shall Possess a Valid General Contractor's License for Work in the State of Alabama. The Contractor's License Number Shall Be Clearly Indicated on the Outside of Sealed Bid Envelopes. Bidder and Its Subcontractors Shall Comply With All Applicable Licensing Requirements of the Code of Alabama, Federal and Local Laws or Regulations. A Cashier's Check or Bid Bond Payable to the Owner in an Amount Not Less Than Five (5) Percent of the Amount of the Bid Must Accompany the Bidder's Proposal. Bid Shall Be Submitted on the Bid Form Provided. Bidders May Supplement This Form as Appropriate. Your Bid Will Be Required to Be Submitted Under a Condition of Irrevocability for a Period of 60 Days From the Date of the Opening of Bids. The Owner Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Any Informality in the Bidding. |
