Description | ALL questions should be emailed to Paul Majkowski at paul.majkowski@intertek.com no later than 1:00 p.m., Eastern on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 LEIN CHECK (Dept. of Corrections ONLY) All contractor/vendor representatives attending a Pre-Bid Walk Through Meeting must submit a Vendor/Contractor LEIN Request five business days prior to the meeting date, (See the attached Vendor/Contractor LEIN Request form). Send the LEIN Request form, filled out and signed, by email to Daniel T. Smith at email address: SmithD76@michigan.gov. The email "Subject" must include (Facility Name, Project Name, Date & Time of Pre-Bid Walk Through Meeting). DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Removal of the existing abandoned solar panels, power washing of the roof, treatment of surface rusted panels, application of new roof paint coating, upgraded metal panel flashing at skylights, repair of damaged/missing snow guards, repair of gutter joints and wet sealing of the skylights. Alternate work shall include a possible further enhancement repair of the skylights by method of specialty spray coating. Furnish all equipment, materials, labor, and services necessary to complete all building demolition required in connection with the existing building, in order to permit the installation of new Work. The goal of the Owner is to generate the least amount of waste or debris possible. However, inevitable waste and debris that are generated shall be reused, salvaged, or recycled, and disposal in landfills shall be minimized to the extent economically feasible. The Contractor will be required to prepare waste management plan for the collection, handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of the waste generated at the construction site for the Owner's review and approval. The Contractor will be required to produce waste management progress reports. |
