Green Bay Botanical Garden Children's Garden Expansion

Green Bay Botanical Garden is 47 acres of display gardens and natural areas capturing the beauty of northeast Wisconsin’s four distinct and wonderful seasons. The garden’s mission is to connect people with plants. The primary purpose of the project is to expand the existing Children’s Garden at the Green Bay Botanical Garden with educational elements and a variety of play features and opportunities. The project will develop roughly 2.5 acres adjacent the exiting Children’s Garden and refurbish select elements within the 0.3-acre existing Children’s Garden. The Botanical Garden property is leased from North Wisconsin Technical College, and the adjacent Larsen Rd serves other NWTC facilities and properties. The Botanical Garden, as a whole, will remain in active operation throughout construction, however, the Children’s Garden area will be closed for a single season of construction duration. This project will implement the Garden’s Mission by constructing a series of new garden rooms, pathways, and structures to host year-round educational and recreational experiences for everyone in an environment that engages, inspires and refreshes.
