| Description | This project involves the removal of the existing composition shingle roof and base protection layers down to the Ply Wood Roof deck. Replacement roof shall be a new 40+ year composition shingle roof as specified in the Project Documents. Roof color shall match the existing color of the roofs. New fascia trim, new drip edge trim, and others trim/soffit as required and as specified on the documents. New stainless steel thru-wall flashing shall be installed as detailed on the construction documents. The existing ply wood roof decking shall be inspected and if any water damaged decking is encountered, it shall be replaced. 3 Sheets of (4 x 8 – ½ inch) Ply Wood per building will be added as biddable replacement in the base bid. All existing wood or Hardie Siding, Fascia and Trim shall be inspected and if any water damaged Siding, Fascia/Trim is encountered, it shall be replaced. All new Fascia/Trim shall be painted to match the removed Fascia/Trim boards. |
