Replace the rotten and deteriorated nominal 1x2 wood fascia at all gutter edges and all gable/rake fascia. Fasten with galvanized nails. Prime and paint all new fascia trim and existing gable/rake fascia trim to approximately match existing color. Color is to be approved by project manager. Remove existing shingles, fasteners, and felt. Install minimum 30 mil, self-adhering, high-temperature underlayment over existing roof sheathing per manufactures recommendations and a slip sheet over underlayment. Slip sheet shall be manufacturer’s recommended slip sheet, of type required for application. Supply and install new minimum thickness 24 Ga, 1-3/4" high, 18" wide, Galvalume ASTM-A-792-83, AZ55, 40 KSI yield point, 52 KSI tensile strength, with 70% Kynar 500 baked-on finish standing seam metal roof over approx. 6,615 sq. ft. of roof. Metal trim and fasteners shall match the color of the roof and be approved by the project manager. The vertical-rib, snap-joint, standing-seam metal roof panels shall be formed with vertical ribs at panel edges and intermediate stiffening ribs symmetrically spaced or a flat pan between ribs; designed for sequential installation by mechanically attaching panels to supports using concealed clips located under one side of panels, apply sealant to panel interlock, engaging opposite edge of adjacent panels, and snapping panels together. Remove any excess exposed sealant. The wind-uplift resistance shall be for a metal panel assembly that comply with Underwriter's Laboratories, Inc. 580 for Class 90 wind uplift resistance. Installation shall be made in accordance with manufacturers recommended procedures and layout drawings. Manufacturers of Construction Details Handbook, SMACNA Architectural Sheet Metal Manual, and NRCA Roofing and Waterproofing Manual and Handbook of Roofing Knowledge shall be used as guides and details whenever applicable. Provide and install all components required for a complete, weathertight panel system including trim, copings, clips, fasteners, flashings, sealants, gaskets, fillers, closure strips, and similar item. All fasteners shall be concealed unless approved by the Contracting Officer or their representative. Match material and finish of metal panels unless otherwise indicated. Install approx. 105 ln. ft. of vented ridge cap. Install approx. 210 ln. ft. of drip edge. Install approx. 126 ln. ft. of gable trim. Reflash metal chimney vent
