Description | Furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and services for the construction of the Sanitary Sewer I/I Rehabilitation - Rivercrest Basin Project: Phase 3 The project includes: o Performing all removal of structures and obstructions and earthwork operations. o 2,724 lineal feet of 8-inch and 10-inch pipe installation by open cut. o 3,441 lineal feet of 8-inch and 10-inch pipe installation by pipe bursting. o 1,789 lineal feet of lateral pipe installation. o 91 lateral cleanout installations. o Installing 1 manhole. o Waterproofing the interior of 8 manholes. o Cleaning and regrouting the risers of 3 manholes. o Installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic and pedestrian control and erosion control measures. Each proposal must be submitted on forms prescribed by the City and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond and a labor and material payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of contract. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish a statutory public works bond in the amount of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000.00). Evidence of workers' compensation insurance will be required before the work shall commence. The City will investigate and determine the qualifications of the apparent low bidder prior to awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject all bids, if it is in the public interest to do so. |
