Work includes, but is not limited to: Streets as Outlined on City Map: Note that part of the work under this project will be funded by the CHIPS/Pave NY/EWR program. The streets to be funded by this program are listed below as base bid and bid alternate work. Base Bid Work: Chips/Pave NY/EWR Funded Streets: 1.Canasawacta Street - (Cortland Street to Pleasant Street) (Approximate total of 17,712 sq. ft. of milling and 228 tons of new HMA) 2.Newton Avenue – (Prospect Street to Canasawacta Street) (Approximate total of 41,730 sq. ft. of milling and 538 tons of new HMA) 3.Pleasant Street – (King Street to Canasawacta Street including intersection of Canasawacta and from Plymouth Street to Canasawacta Creek including intersection of Plymouth) (Approximate total of 39,026 sq. ft. of milling and 503 tons of new HMA) 4.Cortland Street – (Plymouth Street to North Broad, including intersection of Plymouth Street) (Approximate total of 59,025 sq. ft. of milling and 761 tons of new HMA) Note: Contractor shall coordinate and obtain any required permits with the NYSDOT for all work in the NYS Rt 12 Right of way at the end of Cortland Street 5.Miller Street – (Entire Street) Approximate total of 15,840 sq. ft. of milling and 204 tons of new HMA) Bid Alternate Work: Bid Alternate work that will be completed only if the City of Norwich is able to fund the work. Bid Alternate Streets: 1.Auburn Street – (Entire Street) (Approximate total of 9,504 sq. ft. of milling and 123 tons of new HMA) 2. King Street – (Entire Street) (Approximate total of 14,256 sq. ft. of milling and 184 tons of new HMA) 3. Millings – (Credit for Contractor to Remove and Take All Millings Generated from the Project. Temporary Storage allowed at Borden Ave. Facility unit August, 31, 2020) (Approximate total of 197,093 sq. ft. of millings)
