Description

Bonds Required after Award: 100% Labor & Materials Payment Bond and Performance Bond Provide all labor, materials and equipment to disconnect and remove existing pole mounted light fixtures and replace them with new Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) LED light fixtures in various parking lots around the Liberal Arts Campus(LAC). Parking Lot sincluded but not limited to, A, B, C, Island between lots D and E, J, K, L,O, driveway between buildings Q and R, East and West Fire Lanes surrounding Building T,Driveway behind Parking Structure (PS-1) and Driveway between Parking Structure (PS-1) and Building V. All existing radial linear surface mounted lights in side the Parking Structure (PS-1) will also need to get replaced with new LED lights on all levels. A District allowance amount of $15,000 for Unforeseen Conditions must be added to your Bid Proposal Amount. Project Duration: 60 consecutive calendar days At the time bids are submitted, each Bidder shall possess a valid Class C-10 contractors license and must maintain the license(s) throughout the duration of the project. All designated subcontractors will also be required to have current and active CSLB licenses at the time of submission of the bid and throughout the duration of the project. Pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5. each Contractor and all subcontractors identified in a Contractors subcontractors list,submitting a proposalto complete the work, labor,materials and/ or services must be a Department of Industrial Relations Registered Contractor. A bidder who is not a DIR Registered Contractor when submitting a proposal for the work is deemed not qualified and the proposal of such a bidder will be rejected for non-responsiveness. A bid bond in an amount not less than 10% of your bid amount must be submitted along with your bid submission. Electronic submission is acceptable. Pursuant to California Labor Code 1771.4(a)(4) the work is subject to payment of Prevailing Wage Rates. Every Contractor and all Subcontractors of every tier, performing any portion of the work, shall pay laborers not less than the Prevailing Wage Rate established for the labor provided. Prevailing Wage monitoring and enforcement shall be by the Department of Industrial Relations.
