Time and Material (NTE), Commercial General Construction and Contracting

Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is soliciting information from qualified contractors to provide time and material, not to exceed, commercial general construction and general contracting services for various construction, maintenance and renovation projects. Contractors should read all materials carefully and note the due date. Contractors must submit all questions in the "Questions" tab related to this bid opportunity. The contract will be a written agreement between the Owner and the Contractor for the period of January 1, 2023 (or date of award) through December 31, 2023, subject to three (3) 1-year extension(s), wherein payment will be based on the Contractor's actual hours worked charged at the labor rate specified herein, equipment, materials, and subcontractor services plus a fixed amount to cover the Contractor's overhead and profit. A 100% performance and payment bond shall be required for contracts totaling more than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) prior to the commencement of any work. This bond will provide security for faithful performance of the Contract and for the payment of all persons performing labor and furnishing materials. Cost of any bonds will be added to Contractor's invoice with no markup.
