Baseball Diamond Rehabilitation at Shadyside Park

1. Contractor awarded bid will meet with City of Mount Clemens representatives to install boundary stakes for layout of field at park if needed. 2. Recommend existing site surface material; 1. Sprayed with an herbicide and allow 7-10 days for herbicide application to work once applied. 2. Site material can be tilled, and tine raked 3. Any type of aggregate (stone / rocks) exposed are to be removed. Remaining large of weeds and overgrowth spoils are to be removed from playing surface and disposed of off-site. 4. Diamond dust is to be delivered and applied as final grade of defined playing surface. An estimated average of 3” of diamond must be applied to all areas of the playing surface. 5. Upon completion; Construction of the baseball diamond should be regulation size approximately 80’ x 80’ or 6,400 square feet.
