RFP D/B - Cabarrus County Exterior and Interior Signage

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking proposals from signage vendors for a campus-wide signage project. The College is seeking the design and installation of new interior signage at the Cabarrus County Campus locations at NCRC and CBTC. The NCRC has one building with (3) floors totaling 67,210 SF. The CBTC campus has one building with (2) floors totaling 43,700 SF and a one building annex with a total of 12,000 SF. The project will use the new building and room numbers developed by the College to align with the college-wide numbering system. For reference, the basis of design is APCO Graphics' Arcadia Curved Face Signage System. This system is used at the College's North Campus location in Salisbury, NC, and is the basis for the interior signs at NCRC. The signage package for the CBTC buildings is expected to be a simpler, more cost-effective solution using phenolic signs with permanent names and room numbers. Project scope includes development of a design package, numbering and labeling schedule, catalog of signs for future orders, removal and disposal of all existing interior and exterior signs, repair, seal, and paint surfaces as needed to match existing finishes, and installation of new interior and exterior signs. The project milestones include completion of installation of all interior and exterior signage before August 1, 2023 in preparation for Fall classes.
