Description | The Track and Field Improvements Project at Norwood High School shall include: 1. The demolition of existing site features to include, but not limited to, the existing synthetic turf, existing track, and other appurtenances as detailed in the contract documents. 2. Replacement of the turf and infill of the existing synthetic turf field inside the track, laser grade of gravel base, reconstruction of a new track, and other appurtenances, as detailed in the contract documents. 3. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 4. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. 5. All other work indicated on the contract plans and/or specifications. ALTERNATES A. Deduct: Alternate No. 1 – Removal of the specified shock pad per Specification Section 321823, but under this alternate include increased turf pile height of ¼”. B. Deduct: Alternate No. 2. – Musco light poles and fixtures, per Specification Section 260000. C. Add – Alternate No. 3 – Concrete pads for track and field events (discus and shot put) as specified on the drawings. |
