Description | The Colorado Rio Grande Restoration Foundation (Foundation) is accepting bids for the Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge Bank Stabilization and Habitat Enhancement Project. The Project includes streambank stabilization and habitat enhancement work along the Rio Grande on the Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge and adjacent private property. A contract will be awarded by September 16, 2022. The Foundation reserves the right reject any bids in the best interest of the Project Partners. The bid package contains specifications and instructions designed by Southwest River Engineering. The project partners are soliciting bids for bank stabilization and habitat enhancement work which includes the following activities: Locate and haul construction materials to site Riprap the toe of the slope above and below the deflector structures Build rock deflector and rock stabilization structures Build backwater habitat specific for the Rio Grande Chub Shape the river channel through project reach Complete revegetation and riparian restoration Complete all activities in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. |
