Description | The project generally consists of grading and installation of standard concrete box culverts underneath existing roadway, demolition, sidewalks, final stablization and associated miscellaneous work all within existing City owned ROW in the City of White House, TN. A certified check or cashiers check payable to the City of White House or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by a corporate surety licensed under the laws of Tennessee to execute such Bonds in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds. The Performance Bond shall be in full force and effect for one (1) year after the date of final acceptance of the project by the City of White House. Order materials in advance of actual project start date of June 1st, 2023 (as required by active ARAP permit construction limitations and expected material availability) Demolition of portions of existing drainage pipes, culverts, sidewalks and related features to allow for the project installations Coordination with Utility owners in the vicinity of the project to allow finalized gas and/or sewer relocations to occur during project installation Installation of primary stormwater structures Backfill, compaction and roadway repairs All other associated miscellaneous details and ancillary items detailed in plans Protect, repair or replace all surface material and similarly affected existinginfrastructure as may be affected during the construction of the primary project and not intended to be affected by the project Abide by TDECs active permits at each construction stie - Aquatics Resource Alteration Permit (ARAP - General Permit for Maintenance Activities) Receive inspections and acceptance by the City and place into operation the project facilities shown in plans in accordance with specifications As time is of the essence, bidder also agrees to pay $800.00/day as liquidated damages. |
