GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor (also referred to as "vendor" throughout) shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and disposal required for the renovations and upgrade to the Varsity Team room of the "Yocum Sailing Center" at the USMMA, 300 Steamboat Road, Kings Point, NY 11024 (Nassau County). The project area is approximately 1,900 sq. ft. The new Varsity Team Room will include separate lockers and storage rooms for male and female athletes. Tasks include, but are not limited to, new construction including walls, wall framing, doors, ceiling, painting, plumbing/HVAC, electrical, fire sprinkler with the existing conditions and associated clearances. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Statement of Work, Drawings, and the applicable wage rates incorporated herein (see Section J). Vendor shall include a proposed monthly progress payment schedule or percentage in accordance with FAR clause 52.232-5, based on the estimates of work to be accomplished per the draft project schedule. ITEM 00001: BASE BID ITEM Construction elements in accordance to the Statement of Work, Drawings and applicable wage determination. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE All work to be performed for the renovation of the Varsity Team Room USMMA's Yocum Sailing Center, located at 300 Steamboat Road, Kings Point, New York 11024. F.2 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The period of performance will be 90 days from the date the Notice to Proceed (NTP) is issued to the contractor. Work shall be performed during normal business hours of 7:00AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday. If the Contractor desires to work during periods other than above, the Program Manager must notify the Contracting Officer (CO) five (5) working days in advance of the intention to work during other periods to allow assignment of additional inspection forces. When the CO determines that they are reasonably available, she may authorize the Contractor to perform work during periods other than normal duty hours/days. However, if inspectors are required to perform in excess of their normal duty hours/days solely for the benefit of the Contractor, the actual cost of the inspection, at overtime rates, will be charged to the Contractor and will be deducted from the final payment of the contract amount. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises.
