Traffic Services Open End

The majority of the work performed under this Open-End Contract will be in the areas of: 1. Traffic Signal System Designs, Traffic Signal Retiming Plans, & Traffic Signal Removal Plans. 2. Transportation Impact Study (TIS) & Transportation Impact Assessment (TIA) Reviews and Designs. 3. Review of Consultant Designs including, but not limited too, Traffic Signal Plans, Work Zone Traffic Control Plans, Signing & Pavement Marking Plans, etc. 4. Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) initiatives including needs assessments, design of facilities, and plan reviews. 5. Design and Inspection of Municipal Traffic Signal installations & Department Traffic Signal installations. 6. Structural analysis of Strain Poles, Mast Arms, & Overhead Sign Structures. 7. Highway Occupancy Permit (HOP) plan reviews. 8. Collect traffic volume data using automatic traffic counters and manual counts. 9. Graphical and computer generated design assistance for engineering design presentations.and asset management. 10. All tasks will be subject to the condition that the selected consultant (or sub-consultant retained to perform work under this open-end contract) will not be permitted to review any work for a developer for which they are also under contract or for a Municipality in which they provide engineering services.
