Description | As of August 16,2022, this project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid. The Texas Historical Commission (THC) issues this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to solicit bids from qualified contractors that are able to provide services and equipment related to road and trail repair, and all necessary trades to install and make operational onsite. Bidder may visit the site to assess the project conditions prior to submitting a bid. Refer to paragraph 3.3 for details. The project ultimately requires preparing surfaces and adding 4 inches of crushed limestone to CCC loop area road, wetting and roller compacting. Adding 3 inches of chat to fort walking trails, wetting and roller compacting. Bid must include all equipment necessary, and all labor to deliver and complete this project. Contractor shall provide all necessary services and equipment related to preparing surfaces and adding 4 inches of crushed limestone to CCC loop area road, wetting and roller compacting. Total length of the CCC loop is 1,400ft and will be 18ft wide. Contractor shall provide all necessary services and equipment related to preparing surfaces and adding 3 inches of chat to fort walking trails, wetting and roller compacting. Total length of the Fort trails is 4,650ft and will be 12ft wide. The trails must have a smooth finish surface to allow small wheel access. The project scope shall be completed by 90 days from award. The Contract term may be extended by the parties only by written amendment or signed change order. This contract is contingent upon the continued availability of funding. If funds become unavailable through lack of appropriations, legislative budget cuts, amendment of the Appropriations Act, state agency consolidations, or any other disruption of current appropriations, provisions of the Termination Article in the THC General Terms and Conditions Contract shall apply.
