Description | As of May 10 the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established . Repairs and Improvements to the Jacob Wolf House Historic Site Phase III located in Norfork, Arkansas for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism / Department of Arkansas Heritage A bid security in the amount of 5% shall accompany each bid, if the bid is more than $50,000.00. Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. 22-9-203, the State encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups. The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities. The scope of work to be performed on these historic structures and site within this phase includes the construction of a new pavilion, replacement of a portion of the existing split rail fence and installation of a new section and the rehabilitation of the existing cistern.this project includes the addition of a new pavilion, replacement of the west-side wood fence and addition of a new fence on the south of the existing wolf cabin, and the rehabilitation of the upper portion of the cistern next to the existing wolf house. all lumber used in this project is to be rough cut white oak. the site will remain open to the general public during the construction period, though the areas can be restricted from access by the general public. |
