Description

Work shall include all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to furnish and install 8-inch, 6-inch and 4-inch diameter ductile iron pipe (DIP) water mains, 4-inch and 2-inch temporary water mains, including valves, valve vaults, fire hydrants, fittings, service connection renewals, pressure testing, disinfection, connection to existing water mains, and appurtenances. Catonsville, Windsor Mill – District 1 c 1. The proposed work includes but is not limited to the following: the construction of approximately 9,502 linear feet of 8-inch water main, 289 linear feet of 6-inch water main; 1,385 linear feet of 4-inch water main; 437 linear feet of 6-inch temporary bypass piping, 6,713 linear feet of 4-inch temporary bypass piping; 4,291 linear feet of 2-inch temporary bypass piping; seventeen (17) 6-inch fire hydrants; and the reinstallation/relocation of two-hundred and two (202) water service connections.
