Description | As of April 10, 2023, project was awarded to J. Hutchins, Inc., awarded amount is $752,272.34. PROJECT LOCATION: Smugglers' Notch State Park section of VT Route 108 (within the seasonal closure area), beginning in the Town of Stowe on VT Route 108 at mile marker 8.153, and extending northerly along VT 108 for a distance of 1.540 miles and ending in the Town of Cambridge at mile marker 1.064. ENGINEERS ESTIMATE: For this Proposal the Engineers Estimate falls between $500,000 and $1,000,000. TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Work to be performed under this project includes construction of five independent parking areas, roadside stabilization and revegetation, signage, and other related items. CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: The Contract Work shall be completed on or before September 30, 2023. STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS: This contract is governed by the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) 2018 Standard Specifications for Construction. QUESTIONS: During the advertisement phase of this project all questions shall be addressed solely to Municipal Project Manager, Seth Jensen, via email at seth@lcpcvt.org.
