RFP Engineering - Engineering Design and Environmental Consulting Services for Placerville Drive Pedestrian Connectivity

The City of Placerville will NOT accept proposals submitted via e-mail. The City of Placerville is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering and design services. The services shall begin with preliminary engineering and environmental documentation; continue through the development of final contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Estimate (PS&E); and conclude with construction engineering support. The City expects the consultant to develop their own detailed scope of work and identify deliverables based on knowledge of City and Caltrans/LAPM procedures and understanding of the project. The scope of work, at a minimum, should include the tasks described in Attachment C. Proposers are expected to gain thorough knowledge of the project and exercise professional judgment in development of the scope of work that will deliver the project to construction. All elements of the project must comply with federal funding requirements and is subject to the provisions set forth in the most recent version of the Caltrans LAPM. Interviews - November 15, 2022 Award Contract for Engineering Services - December 13, 2022 Project Kick-off - December 19, 2022 Completion of Bid Documents - June 2024 Request for Authorization to Proceed with Construction - June 2024 End Contract - December 31, 2025 The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time. As os October 7, 2022, an attempt was made to confirm the due date and time with the owner.
