Description

The Contractor will provide all transportation, materials, hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision and technical expertise for the UST repair and upgrade project for Building 42 (Tank 14-42) and Building 21 (Tank 9-21). Will require environmental consultants with specialized underground storage tanks system experience and knowledge. Contractor will be properly credentialed to install, repair and program specialized tank monitoring systems, double walled fiberglass piping, valves, and wiring. Also, contractor must be located within a 120 miles radius from the place of performance (Salisbury NC VAMC). Repairs conducted under the scope of the contract must result in passing tests for all currently enforceable NCDEQ regulations. Coordination of sump and line testing shall be included under the contract in addition to the cost associated with third party testing. Engineering Service, Safety Section will serve as the focal point.
