Description | Questions should be directed to Patrick Boyle, Sr. Purchasing Agent, at the following email address: pboyle@southjerseyport.com. The South Jersey Port Corporation (SJPC) is an agency of the State of New Jersey with a mission to develop, maintain and operate marine terminals and related intermodal transportation infrastructure within the South Jersey Port District. The agency has primary offices at 2 Aquarium Dr., Suite 100 and port operations at the Balzano Marine Terminal and the Broadway Terminal in Camden, New Jersey. The agency also has facilities in Salem and Paulsboro. SJPC is grantee of Foreign Trade Zone #142. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. All prices and amounts must be written in in ink or machine printed. Bids containing any conditions, omissions, unexplained erasures or alteration, items not called for in the bid proposal form, attachment of additive information not required by the specifications or irregularities of any kind, may be rejected by SJPC. Any changes, white-outs, strikeouts, etc., in the bid must be initialed in ink by the person signing the bid. Bidders are expected to examine the bid specifications and related bid documents with care and observe all their requirements. Ambiguities, errors, or omissions noted by bidders should be promptly reported in writing to the appropriate official. Any prospective bidder who wishes to challenge a bid specification shall file such challenges in writing with SJPC no less than three (3) business days prior to the opening of the bids. Challenges filed after that time shall be considered bid and having no impact on SJPC or the aware of the contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13. In the event the bidder fails to notify SJPC of such ambiguities, errors, or omissions, the bidder shall be bound by the requirements of the specifications and the bidder's submitted bid. No oral interpretation and or clarification of the meaning of the specifications will be made to any bidder. No questions will be answered after 5pm on Thursday, August 4, 2022. |
