| Description | Firms to provide portable rigid and flexible sign stands.The sign stand shall have been tested in accordance with crash worthiness guidelines and procedures set forth in the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Report 350 Test Level 3, Manual for Assessing Hardware (MASH), or otherwise accepted in an FHWA letter for the specific sign stand. This standard requires a head-on impact and a 90-degree impact. The sign stand must have passed both impacts. | ||
