Warrenton Main Avenue at 9th Street Safe Routes to School

Request for Bids from firms or individuals capable of constructing pedestrian walkways, a Rectangular Rapid Flashing beacon and related improvement along Main Avenue between 9th Street and 10th Place. All improvements will be constructed to the current City standards. The following is a brief summary of the major elements of Work that are to be provided by the Contractor. 1. Removal of existing pavement, sidewalks, curbs and other obstructions. 2. Installation of stormwater drainage system including pipe, and inlets/catch basins. 3. Installation of stormwater treatment facilities including a water quality filter strip. 4. Construction of new curbs, sidewalks/ walkways, driveways and ADA ramps. 5. Street reconstruction (excavation, aggregate base and asphaltic concrete paving). 6. Install pavement markings and legends. 7. Install Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon System, including signage. 8. Provide and monitor temporary traffic control. 9. Provide and monitor erosion control. 10. Landscaping
