Description

The BWA Landfill is surrounded by a slurry wall, which is keyed into the confining clay layer. There is a HPDE-lined perimeter ditch with an underdrain system that conveys stormwater/leachate to Pond A. During heavy rainfall events in the past few years, multiple areas had slope failures along the bank of the lined ditch in the southwest corner of the BWA Landfill. The goal of this project is to reconstruct the ditch slopes and reinstall.
