Colonial/Lincoln Parks Multi Use Trail Paving

This project consists of reconstructing the existing gravel trails in both Colonial and Lincoln Parks near the bridge crossings over the Root River to include the regrading of the existing gravel trails for paving and the installation of a new asphalt pavements and site restoration. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Bidders must be prequalified by the Commissioner of Public Works. Deadline for submitting a prequalification application is five (5) days prior to the time of bid opening. Interested bidders must fill out and submit Pre-qualification Form and the Affirmative Action Plan to the City of Racine. These forms must be approved by the City in order to bid on the project. This project is not subject to the requirements of Section 46-41 - Racine Works Program of the Racine Municipal Code as outlined in the Bid Document. The City of Racine reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or accept that bid which, in the opinion of the owner, will serve the best interest of the City. The items of work included in this contract are located on the West end of West High Street (Colonial/Lincoln Parks) in the City of Racine.
