Description

1. Painting all interior hallways, stairwells, restrooms, classrooms, cafeteria, designated doors, door frames, handrails, exterior trim and doors. etc. The district will select color. 2. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision necessary to complete a project. 3. It is the contractor's responsibility to calculate the materials needed to complete this project. 4. Paint supplied by contractor must be equivalent or better than specifications attached to this bid. There are two specifications: 1. Old section of school 2. Modern Section of school 5. Painting interior and exterior substrate must be performed according to manufactures specifications including cleaning the substrate and temperature requirements. 6. The older section of the school will require the paint contractor to have abatement certification. Abatement certification required with bid. 7. The contractor will coordinate all work with the Director of Operations or designee to determine the best work schedule so not to interfere with the school's daily programs. 8. Any concerns that may come up during the painting project must be directedto the Director of Operations or designee. 9. The contractor is responsible for the removal and disposal for any and all painting materials from district property. 10. Dumpsters located on district property are not to be used for disposal of painting supplies or abated materials. 11. The contractor is responsible for any damage to a building or other property caused by the contractors' employees while performing the work under this contract. 12. The Director of Operations will work with the successful bidder to determine the most efficient schedule for painting the facility.
