Description | Commercial development proposals from qualified developers/businesses to help the City attain the vision set forth in its Comprehensive Plan and Waterfront Development Plan for the Timeless Timber Commercial Redevelopment Site located at 2200 Lake Shore Drive East. The Timeless Timber Commercial Redevelopment area is comprised of approximately 4.75 acres of publicly-owned property located on the east side of Ashland, in the Regional Commercial (RC) zoning district. The site includes approximately 340 feet of U.S. Highway 2 frontage and is located in a primary commercial corridor. The City is seeking a developer to deliver a project that complements the surrounding neighborhood and is successful in the marketplace. The property is located within Tax Increment Finance District No. 9, and the City is willing to negotiate a development agreement, in addition to assist with potential state and/or federal redevelopment tools as necessary to assist with project financing. |
