Mcleansville Regional Readiness Center - General Contractors

The existing site has been cleared and the building pad graded to subgrade as part of a separate project. The building consists of offices, classrooms, assembly hall, kitchen, fitness area, unit storage, and equipment rooms. The two-story portion contains the office suites on either side of a lobby. The assembly space is a high bay space with clerestory windows. On either side of the assembly hall are storage and support spaces. The west side houses the kitchen, large equipment room, fitness room, and shower facilities. The east side houses supply/storage areas, small equipment room, and building maintenance. Building features include a VRF HVAC system, LED lighting, closed cell foam insulation, and translucent panels. The building is comprised of loadbearing masonry walls with steel framing at large openings. The exterior consists of face brick, architectural CMU veneer, and metal panel cladding. The roof is constructed of single-ply TPO membrane over a 5/8" cover board, over polyiso insulation on the low slope areas and standing seam metal panel over an ice and water shield underlayment, over poly iso insulation on the sloped areas. Exterior glazing will be aluminium storefront and aluminium curtain wall. The frames shall be thermally broken, with 1" insulated glazing. The interior walls will be 8" CMU. Walls inside the office suites will be metal stud with gypsum wall board. Ceiling finishes consist of exposed painted and acoustical lay-in ceilings. Floor finishes consist of epoxy terrazzo flooring, resinous flooring, ceramic tile flooring, carpet / rubber base, and sealed concrete. The proposed facility will be on a pre-graded site located at: 4250 Camp Burton Rd., Mc Leans villa, NC 27301. Only General Contractors that have been prequalified by the North Carolina National Guard will be able to submit a bid package for the construction of the stated facility. The North Carolina National Guard reserves the right to reject any and all applications; to waive all technicalities and irregularities; and to request additional information from an applicant.
