Description

Construction of a Public Safety Building to House Fire and Police Services This Invitation for Bids is for the construction of a Public Safety Building to house fire and police services in Devens, Massachusetts. Please Note: In accordance with MGL Chapter 149 44 D 1/2 and 44 D 3/4 and with 810 CMR 9.00 and 10.00, only bids submitted by General and filed sub-bid contractors who have been pre-qualified to bid on this project will be accepted. All other bids will be discarded without opening. The scope of work includes selective demolition and renovation of an existing building, including removal and replacement of all existing systems; construction of a new apparatus bay and sally port; installation of PV system; and required site work, grading, landscaping and other such work as called out in the project plans and specifications. MD reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Award of the contract for the work contemplated by the IFB may be subject to the approval by the MD Board of Directors. Contractor must obtain the bid documents from the owner at cbrown@massdevelopment.com - Otherwise the bid will be disqualified.
