Description

Various Materials - Fill Dirt Q & A deadline: Dec 05, 2022 11:00:00 AM EST Bid period is to be from January 3, 2023 through June 30, 2023. Contract period shall be five months from date of acceptance. However, contract may be renewed for one (1) additional six-month period provided both parties agree. Soils shall consist of materials that will stabilize with Portland cement. Plasticity Index (PI) must not exceed 12. Liquid limit (LI) must not exceed 30. Organic content must not exceed 2%. Recommended soil cement content by volume must not be greater than 8.50 % by volume. Silt content shall not exceed 40%. The Ouachita Parish Police Jury reserves the right to waive defects and informalities in proposals, to reject any or all proposals, to accept such proposal as it may deem to be in its best interest, and to award the contract by items, combination of items, or by lot.
