Rehabilitation of Sanitary Sewers

Rehabilitating 8 through 36-inch diameter gravity sanitary sewer pipe faults by the cured-in-place sectional pipe lining method, at various locations within the limits of Miami-Dade County, Florida, maintaining the gravity sanitary sewers in Miami-Dade County, Florida. It is the intention of the Department to establish a "blanket" type contract with one successful bidder, for a period of one year, to repair gravity sanitary sewer defects. This work includes cleaning of the affected existing gravity sanitary sewers, isolating the reach of sewer to be repaired (line between two manholes), inspecting it with closed circuit television (CCTV), repairing the fault by installing a cured-in-place sectional pipe liner, reinstating any service laterals and video-reinspecting and logging the entire length of the repaired reach. The work in the sewer line shall be accomplished through manholes, without disturbing the street surface or adjacent property or any utility.
