Construction Management Services for New Bridge Over the Rail Corridor

The Hudson Valley District of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) seeks proposals for Construction Management services related to the construction of a new bridge over the rail corridor as part of the proposed Hudson Fjord Trail Development within Hudson Highlands State Park. The Breakneck Bridge Project is located in the Town of Fishkill, Dutchess County, NY along a half-mile portion of State Route 9D just north of the Route 9D vehicular tunnel and adjacent to and across the Metro North Railroad (MNR) tracks and adjacent to Hudson Highlands State Park Preserve (Preserve). Summary Project Description: The project involves construction of a new bridge over the Metro-North rail corridor to carry the proposed Hudson Fjord trail along the Hudson River between Cold Spring and Beacon, New York. The project will consist of one lump sum contract, to be coordinated by the construction manager selected via. this RFQ process.
